Trenance Gardens
They call Trenance a park, but really it's
a whole world of leisure and fun, thrills, spills and fascination: 26
acres of lush, sub-tropical colour interspersed with Cornwall's only
zoo, a boating lake and a seemingly endless catalogue of activities
for all ages and weathers.
A five-minute stroll from the centre of town will bring you to the
entrance and the only hard part of your visit - Choosing.... What will
it be first? A ride on the miniature railway, a battery car - or a
real horse? A round of crazy golf or some practice for the real thing
on Trenance's Pitch and Put course? A game of tennis, or messing about
on the boating lake - followed by a restorative tea at the Lakeside
Cafe. |

Magical
Mystery Tour Newquay
Experience Newquay as
the Beatles did on their famous Magical Mystery Tour at the
destination location of Newquay.
We would like to take
you on a trip down memory lane. When four young lads, John, Paul,
George and Ringo made a trip from London to Newquay on a coach making
an unscripted film called the Magical Mystery Tour.
Our journey will take
you on a nostalgic and fun tour to the places the Beatles visited
whilst filming, taking in surrounding beauty spots, local history and
of course, the music.
The group stayed in
Newquay for three days and filming took place in Porth, Watergate Bay,
Holywell Bay, Tregurrian and they stayed at the Atlantic Hotel. Join
us and re-live the Magical Mystery Tour Newquay just like the Beatles
did in 1967.
We don’t want to give too much away but there is plenty to see and you
may even get to meet the man who inspired the Beatles to include him
in the famous song "I Am The Walrus". Ted O’Dell (The Eggman) who
delivered eggs to Sailors pub where he first met the Beatles.
The group later photographed Ted and his “Eggman – Local Deliveries”
van when delivering eggs to The Atlantic Hotel.
Get in the spirit with
